What a wonderful place to rent from. The level of customer service was unlike any other. Super accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process of planning as well as the duration of our stay. The Fairway Retreat at Old Greenwood was a stunning property and the amenities were endless! I 100% recommend this group and property!

We were a group of 4 families with people from age 7 to 70…Regarding the management: I spoke to Jesi and she is just too good. Actually, the whole trip including the side seeings, activities were planned based on her suggestions. She grew up in Tahoe and made perfect suggestions… Overall, I would recommend Tahoe Gateways to everyone and we had a very good time which I am sure every one of us in the group will remember for a long time.”

A group of my friends spent the 4th of July weekend in Tahoe at one of these vacation homes. The property management group could not have been more friendly or helpful. Any issues we had were addressed immediately via phone and the process to rent was extremely simple. Leading up to the trip, we received a welcome packet with details on what to expect for check in and check out. The day of arrival we received a phone call with the code to access the key to the house, which was in a lockbox on the front door, so we didn't have to deal with going to pick up keys anywhere. The entire process was extremely simple--they really took care of all the details so we didn't have to worry about anything when we arrived.”

We loved the house. The linens were really nice, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed. We did have a few incidences - broken freezer, broken door lock, sticking garage door and no ESPN. BUT each and EVERY complaint we issued was dealt with almost immediately! Even upgrading their cable so we could watch bowl games. The management company is to be commended! Very attentive”

We were very pleased with the home and the responsiveness of Tahoe Getaways to our few and minor problems. The morning after we arrive we tried to make coffee and the coffee maker was very dirty. We tried to clean it but could not. We also had a minor problem with the spa. When calling about the spa problem I mentioned the coffee maker. Not only did they come out quickly to help with the spa, but they brought a brand new coffee maker! This was all done quickly, efficiently and with the nicest people. We were so impressed with the staff's knowledge and willing attitude in trying to accommodate us. We would happily stay here again.”

Writing this to provide a review on Tahoe Getaways from the property owner perspective. The team at Tahoe Getaways managed our home in Tahoe Donner and were utterly fabulous from start to finish. I came out of a management agreement with another firm that focused much more on quantity than quality, so there was always some drama with my home. From day one, Tahoe Getaways showed deep, personal care for my home and for our goals as owners. Responsive, incredibly supportive, a keen attention to detail, and a superior level of quick support across a whole host of requests that I put to them over the duration of our agreement. I would not hesitate for one single second to partner with Tahoe Getaways as a homeowner in the Truckee area. A+++

Just spent 4 days in a beautiful Tahoe Getaway rental. Cable TV was not working, but TGR tried their best to help resolve (cable company was having satellite problems). Had a couple other minor issues but they were handled quickly. I've used Tahoe Getaways half dozen times, and have always had a great experience. Their team is very helpful and polite!

We have just stayed at a Tahoe Getaway rental for a fifth time (over the course of four years). As always, our visit was perfect. The cabin was immaculate (it always is!). It is well equipped, lovingly decorated and impeccably clean. Whenever there is an issue (cloudy hot tub, general questions...), we've always been able to reach someone quickly and any issues were resolved right away. We're so glad to have found this company. Their service charge seems also well below competitors. We'll definitely stick with them and are looking forward to many more visits!
