Memorial Day is the official kick-off to the summer season, and what better place to spend your long weekend than the shores of Lake Tahoe. After months of an epic winter that again brought us record snowfall, the sun has emerged and the greens and blues of North Lake Tahoe are brighter than ever. Opening Day at the Lake!
A time-honored tradition, this unofficial event is when the summer season officially kicks off in North Lake Tahoe. It means it's time to put the boat in the water and enjoy your favorite cocktail at any one of the deck opening parties at our favorite restaurants in town. No boat? No problem. Rent a bike and travel around town on the miles of dedicated bike paths or even take advantage of FREE public transportation. Our favorite deck opening party? Sunnyside's Rock the Deck Party with The Nomads! It will kick off the weekend on Friday, May 24th 2024, at 5:30pm with live Music by The Nomads.

Thanks to the huge amount of snowfall we have received this year, Palisades has extended operations through Memorial Day May, 27th 2024. Go for a few runs and then enjoy LIVE music Saturday and Sunday.
