Beacon & Eggs on Easter Morning at Palisades

Join the Alpine Patrol team for Beacon & Eggs!

Avalanche beacons will be buried in a one-acre area and competitors will work individually or in teams of up to four people to locate them. Competitors can redeem a found beacon for prizes.

Prizes: gift certificates, gear and a 25/26 Palisades Tahoe season pass.

Register: Top of Subway chair from 10am -11:30am

Event Start Time: 12:00noon

Guests should bring their own avalanche beacon, probe and shovel.

Sierra Avalanche Center will have a booth at the event and the Alpine Avalanche Rescue Foundation (AARF) dogs and handlers will be there for a dog search demonstration
