Jossi Wells Invitational at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort

The Jossi Wells Invitational (JWI) is an annual, invite-only event that brings together some of the world’s top freeskiers and snowboarders for a multi-day jam session. Founded in 2016 by six-time X Games medalist Jossi Wells, this unique competition celebrates creativity, progression, and camaraderie within snowsports.

Traditionally held at Cardrona Alpine Resort in New Zealand, the JWI makes its first Northern Hemisphere stop in 2025 at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort in California. From April 7–11, elite athletes will compete on specially designed features in the all-new Sugar Bowl Parks, bringing a fresh and challenging environment to this celebrated event.

Known for its open-format, athlete-judged approach, the JWI showcases world-class talent in an innovative, laid-back setting. From rail jams to jump sessions, participants push the boundaries of what’s possible on skis and snowboards, making the JWI a standout in the global snowsports calendar.
