Four bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath, multiple work spaces for those whose philosophy is "work hard, play hard," and a private hot tub - this Northstar vacation home has something for everyone. And it's pet friendly, with a fenced yard, too!

At Village Walk Townhome, you can park your car safely in the garage and leave it behind for the duration of your stay. All that Northstar's Village has to offer is just a short, easy stroll from this vacation home. Enjoy a wide variety of dining options, from upscale restaurants perfect for a romantic date night, to quick and easy casual fare serving lunch for the whole family. Take in a movie at the Village Cinema, relax with a spa treatment or yoga class, and score a few souvenirs at the many village shops - all without getting in the car. In the winter you will love the short 3 min walk to The Highlands Gondola or a 4 min walk to the Big Springs Gondola, both of these get you to mid mountain.

This also home includes access to the Village Swim & Fitness Center, less than a minute walk from the property. There, enjoy a saline pool (available year round), kids pool, and locker room with steam showers.

We had 6 adults, 1 baby and a dog. This beautiful home came stocked with everything! Plenty of pots and pans, towels and linens, a designated mud-room for all of our ski gear, jacuzzi, tvs, games, balconies, open concept great room and kitchen and 2 car garage!! It is clean, updated, ski chalet within walking distance to the Northstar Village, restaurants and lifts! We also used Just Better Delivery! We emailed them our grocery list and they had the entire kitchen STOCKED with everything we ordered. We also requested that our ski gear be delivered to the home and they fitted everyone’s skis and boots right there!! Overall, this was the BEST experience ever! We will definitely book this home next time we’re in Northstar!!!! We did bring a baby gate and that kept the baby and the dog with us in the main part of the home!!

I would be providing a more critical review, however, there are very few dog friendly properties and it is only fair to consider with respect to all the other rentals I have experienced that allow dogs as Village Walk Townhouse does. The location is excellent and the Townhouse is well laid out with ample separation if you have more than one family. However, the house is in serious need of maintenance and updating. Thankfully, Tahoe Properties phoned to say that the oven did not work nor the stove ignitor. I had already a prepared a baked salmon dish and the heads up was helpful. I later found that the overhead fan and lights were defective which greatly challenged cooking efforts. The items found to be broken are too numerous to list, but, I called for help on two items: the front door latch which stuck and locked people out and repair of the kitchen fan, a safety hazard in my opinion. Tahoe Properties sent a handyman out who made some adjustments to the door, but, it was basically the same, still a broken latch. Also, he said an electrician would come later that day for the fan as he had no idea how to repair, but, we never heard from anyone. Generally, I found Tahoe Properties to be responsive and helpful. Many of the appliances and fixtures need replacement or significant repair that is well beyond the scope of Property Management. I try to keep my own rental properties always well maintained so I will not have a batch of repairs and updates to do all at once and the property stays consistent with others in the neighborhood, not viewed as the 'rental'.

The Village Walk Townhome was perfect. It was in a great location and allowed us to walk to the Northstar Village and walk to the trails for hiking. The house had everything we needed and the fact that each bedroom had a bathroom was a plus. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a great location across from Northstar. The only issue was the difficulty adjusting the air conditioning. The lower floor was freezing, the middle continuously changed from hot to cold and the third floor was too hot to sleep and if you opened the door and window as suggested with the fan it was hard to sleep because of the noise outside even during the night. Otherwise all was fine!

This place was absolutely fantastic, and really just steps from the lifts. Plenty of space for large groups, and the private hot tub was really a treat. Overall I would highly recommend. The only frustration was the quality of the amenities, small and worn towels, not good soaps, shampoo, etc...just not what you would expect at this price point.

This four bedroom / four bath home was perfect for our 3-generation group. It was a good size and in good condition and the seven of us enjoyed our stay. We chose this home because it was of the few advertised to have air conditioning. The problem was there was absolutely zero A/C in the top floor - main bedroom making for uncomfortable sleeping conditions and the lower level bedrooms were a good twenty degrees colder than the main level. The kitchen could certainly be better equipped with some sharp knives and a frying pan bigger than 8 inches. We were told in no uncertain terms that "this was a private home and should not expect to be equipped like a hotel room." So after stopping to purchase TP, etc., we were pleased to find adequate stocking yet wishing we had a better indication of what we needed to purchase in advance. When we experienced a problem with the main level TV we were very pleased with the responsiveness of getting a technician out to the house, albeit an unmasked one. We were less pleased with the "Good News" messages we received offering us the opportunity to pay more money to get in a little earlier than the 4:00 PM check-in or stay later than the 10:00 AM check-out. If the house was ready, why not let us check-in 30 minutes early rather than push the lock-box code out at exactly 4:00 PM, other than maybe to try to squeeze and extra $75 out of us? All in, a good but not great experience.

I am glad to hear, that overall, you enjoyed your stay. For each home, we do only supply a starter pack of essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, condiments, etc..). With that said, we do asks guests to supply their own when that starter pack runs out. We offer the priority check-in a couple of days before your reservation, which should you accept, would give us plenty of time to ensure that it is ready for your arrival. If a guest does not accept the offer, we cannot guarantee an earlier check-in than 4pm, as we need the added time to prepare the home. I am sorry that the offer came off as wanting more money, that was certainly not our intension. Regardless, we would love to host you again.

Lovely home, perfect for all 9 of us plus our pet. We enjoyed our stay. We were bummed that there were not many shops open in June, but I guess that is to be expected. They need to put speed bumps on the road behind the home. Lots of traffic noise and speeding late at night.

This is one of my favorite places I've stayed in Northstar thus far. The comfort and spaciousness of the home coupled with the prime location (very close to the village, but just far enough away to get some peace and quiet), was awesome. Very close walk to the pool/spa/clubhouse too. I will definitely try to stay here again and highly recommend.

This 4 bedroom/5 bath condo is beautiful and perfectly located adjacent to Northstar Village. 4 couples spent a week here, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is very well appointed, and we made every meal there. The fridge is very large. The oven and stove are top quality. There is a tankless hot water heater- so nobody ran out of hot water for their shower. There is a large mudroom for all your ski equipment. The beds were all VERY comfortable. The hot tub is HOT and worked then entire week. We used it every night. This is a perfect condo. We will rent it again!

We had a great family week at this Village Walk Townhouse. Loved the layout and the 4 bedrooms with the most comfortable beds, and each with their own bathrooms. This house is walking distance to the pool, gym, and village with lots to do. There is also a great walking path close by. The one negative about the location of this home is a noisy street behind the house. The property management company was friendly, very helpful, and always available. Just a short drive to the lake where we rented jet skiis from Tahoe Aquatic Center in Kings Beach with a great beach stops/starts. Renting horses was a lot of fun, too. We had family pictures taken with Angela Nunnink, who we highly recommend. We took a great hike to Picnic Rock. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

Beautiful spacious private house located just a few steps to the village with easy access to the slopes. The home was very equipped, with a private two car garage, ski room, spacious bedrooms and communal spaces. It was beautifully decorated and clean. The private hot tub was a must after skiing. The swim club located a few steps away had a large pool, hot tub, gym, and game room that was included in the stay. Management was very attentive to anything we needed during our stay. I would recommend this property to families or groups who are looking a more private space while still being close to every amenity Northstar has to offer.

A great house for families and a great location. An easy walk to the lifts, yet none of the village noise. Wonderful to have private hot tub. And we had a few maintenance issues that were quickly addressed.

This is a fabulous rental with lots of space to spread out. We love how close to the village it is and that there is a garage to store equipment. The kitchen has plenty of amenities for cooking while there. This house is located in a gated community, this gate code should be included in check in information, we had to call when we arrived to get code. But since it is gated, there was no traffic on our road, so kids could play with remote control cars outside of rental. I would also recommend providing bleach since all the towels and sheets are white. A few of them had stains when we pulled them out of the cupboard to change the bed for other arriving guests. Overall, we love this place and plan on staying again next year!!

We loved the townhome, it was perfect for our family getaway. Great location close to the pool and gym. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including basic spices. There were plenty of towels and blow dryer in bathrooms. The hot tub was awesome. We would definitely rent again.

My family gathered from different destinations to be together. The house we stayed in was wonderful. Everything was there we needed to enjoy our stay. The only problem was the tv in the living room, the instructions were unclear & we had to have to have help 2 of the 4 days to get the tv to turn on. One suggestion would be a fire pit to roast marshmallows! All in all it was perfect & we will return next year. Great time was had by all.

The unit is very nice and the location is fantastic - 2 min walk to the village. There is a little bit of road noise from the main road but you can't see the traffic. Make sure you use the overnight ski storage at the bottom of the gondola to help manage the walk in the morning (especially if you have kids).

We stayed for 4 nights and pretty much the entire time it was snowing!<br />The proximity to the village and lifts is great and allowed us to leave our car in the garage while we were there. The access to the village from the home was a bit challenging at times with the amazing snow (and ice!) and construction taking place next door. But it was limited mostly by the lack of a clear path to get to the village. Not a big deal, but it did make me a little nervous with my in-laws walking around the ice on the main road with the cars and buses sliding around. I suspect when the townhomes next to these are completed a pathway will be included.<br />The house was in good shape with good appliances. The one amenity that was listed but not present was an espresso machine. This would normally not be an issue, but being inside more than normal with the snow I would have used it, or brought my own if I knew one was not there. The only other issue was the HVAC for the downstairs is controlled with the main floor thermostat and a remote thermostat. If the fireplace on the main floor was running or if the main floor was warm the thermostat would not turn on leaving the downstairs (and 3 of the 4 bedrooms) quite cold.<br />All and all it is a nice place to stay, and we would consider staying there again.
