Things may look a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy some of North Lake Tahoe’s finest cuisine. North Lake Tahoe Resort Association has made it easier with the launch of Takeout Tahoe to help support and promote Restaurants in the Region.
Takeout Tahoe gives you access to a downloadable guide that will help you navigate more than 150 restaurant options from West Shore to Incline Village and everything in between. This guide makes the takeout dining experience a bit more fun & easy with background information on the local communities, a listing of restaurants currently offering curbside along with contact info, and great options for places to dine around the lake Al Fresco. They have also created the North Tahoe EATS Facebook page where restaurants can give members up-to-date information on their restaurant and specials they are offering.
While we all miss dining and sharing food and drinks with friends and family in a bustling restaurant, getting take-out is a great way to support our local restaurants, and it'll make your vacation hassle free. Grab some food to go, light a fire or put on a movie, and enjoy a warm meal in the comfort of your Tahoe vacation rental.
With all of these great dining options, guests and businesses alike are asked to continue the trend of Leave No Trace by:
Use proper receptacles and make sure the garbage ends up inside. If a trash bin is full, find another.
Pack it in, pack it out — bring a reusable bag to store your waste.
Be mindful about food storage — don’t store food in your car and adhere to trash regulations if you’re in a vacation rental. Use bear boxes and make sure to lock it.
